I have a deep love for cities. It’s amalgamation of stories about people, places and culture provides vast opportunities to make images which excites me as a photographer.
Here’s a click along the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok. The river cuts across the city and sustains a busy transport system. The boats, or water-taxis, are a major mode of transit for tourists and locals. There are plenty of stops along the river for historic and tourist locales. Check here for the route and timetable. It was my first trip to Bangkok with my wife and despite being early winter, the weather was sultry. I clicked this image as our boat approached the stop that led to the Grand Palace. Really got connected with the different emotions seen here; so many different stories this single frame tells.
